Luftwaffe side cap opinions please..

Hello,
I received this cap in the mail yesterday as a prelude to a trade. I am thinking it looks good with hand sewn insignia( the trader/owner said he added the cocade to complete the hat). I would like some input please, thanks.

Looking at the cap and threads nice patina I would say most likely the eagle has been replaced as well

I agree with Lenny, the eagle may be restored as is the cockade, but all look perfectly original... A fine cap.
