I'm sure I've got a few of these exact same buttons in a box somewhere. Can't remember where they came from though..

Nice cap pieand, what diameter are the buttons in size and any markings behind them?

Ben, I would like to know if you can remember where you have seen these.
The Greek WW2 uniforms had them looking like this too.
They resemble Ancient Spartan Shields, perhaps a symbolic gesture of protection.
Who else would have used them?

    cheers

There are some Norwegian made visors and M-43 in Norwegian collections.
I know of a SS and LW NCO visor with Norwegian maker and I know of 3-4 M-43 with Norwegian makers.
But I have not seen any Norwegian makers of SS M-43 made from the company Hordes in Oslo.
The button on the cap often used by the Nasjonal Samling.

        I love it

        Regards

Diameter of the buttons 15.5 mm.
          No marking on it.
The button on the cap often used by the Nasjonal Samling Norge (comment of DeMil).

Most of their GJ caps are tailor made and without piping.

Gisle posted a similar but unmarked cap back in 2010, very likely also from an Officer of the 7.Gebirgs-Division Prinz Eugen.
