Nobody seemed to like the HG Div overseas I recently listed for discussion. Lets see how you guys like this hat I just picked up. To me it's a so called "textbook" Erel visor with original attached insignia. It is dated under the sweatband. Lets see how good you guys really are. Who can come the closest to the exact date? It has month and year.
Note: I still think my HG hat is real. Officer piping exactly like the visor. People say its fake because it has a "fake" eagle, which is stone dead under a black light [as is the whole cap]. So, somebody used all original materials, constructed it perfectly, but used a "fake" eagle because they couldn't find a common original one. If they knew so much about how to construct a perfect Luft officers cap, why would they add a soutache? I'm sure you will all still say it's fake and thats ok. I'm still waiting to see an "original" HG Div officers overseas....
