Opinions on this Panzer side cap?

Hi all, title says it all.

Don't know all that much about cloth headgear however the eagle doesn't look good to me. Don't think it's original but I figured i should check.

The eagle is a typical bullion officer headgear eagle and original, so is the cockade.

The cap itself from those pictures is IMO original aswell.
These are tailor made side caps for officers and follow a certain construction technique which this cap has.

Ofcourse since the cap is black and not grey you will probaby get some " I could entertain a doubt" comments on this cap which wouldn't have happened if it was grey.

Because they are rarer and command higher prices so collectors get more paranoid and don't use common sense if it is not 100% identical with their or other items in major collections.
It cannot be identical, they are tailor made and I have 12 all different and have handled far more examples.

I will probably get shot down like a russian biplane in 41 for saying so though.
