Hello Chris, it is difficult to decipher, but think that it is called Drechsler

The badge is a postwar Mützenabzeichen for the visor of the tram and bus drivers of the München Straßenbahn. Later a much more stylized badge was adopted. If this dating is correct, then the cockade is absolutely inconsistent from a logical point of view.
