Hi Guys, what do you think of this, the eagle looks a bit strange although it does have the ribbed material?

Inside is stamped but impossible to make out, lined in red rather than the usual tan.

The red lining should have been your first clue. A fake in my opinion.

Thanks OSS, I'm sure I saw an original with red lining, although I agree most are tan lined, were these overseas caps never produced with a red lining?
