              Hallo Discus

Otto WESELY of Wien, kürschner (furrier) & kappenmacher, had a different address as for the 1942 Wien Adressbuch:

              https://www.digital.wienbibliothek.a...al/zoom/266285

But Mariahilferstr.47 was also a secundary address of WESELY as a kürschner:

              https://www.digital.wienbibliothek.a...al/zoom/267347

They were active also in the postwar period and they are still in business in Wien, Rainergasse 21. In particular, the company Otto Wesely OHG, which now represents a department of the cap factory Marie Slama & Sohn, is responsible for the production of the student articles. Marie Slama is a Viennese company rich in tradition, which mainly manufactures uniform caps and student articles. It is a supplier to the federal government and the municipalities and manufactures caps of all kinds for major customers. The company produces uniforms’ caps. The product range includes caps and berets for various institutions such as the Police, the Army, the Financial Police, the Ordnungswache Graz, the ÖBB, the Vienna Boys' Choir; students caps; theater and film equipment; winter and summer caps in every version; uniform shirts, trousers, coats and jackets.

This is a link to the WESELY current website:

              https://www.ottowesely.at/

I agree with Nick & Chris. A postwar Austrian Railway cap.

              Best regards
