Hats real..cockade not early or possibly fake...eagle is believe is real but when applied ..?? I think cap has insignia issues...JMHO BILLBERT

Regarding cockade, honestly speaking I had same impression as yours when I saw first time but dealer (ratisbon) explained that they are pre-war insignia and I believed. Let me copy and paste their explanation as below just for your reference.

"this sidecap still has the early "grey" insignia attached. Machine-woven cap eagle and cockade which were typically used in 1935/36. "

If cockade is fake, I will kick out it from my collection.

what is the date on the cap ?? the cockade should be the same color as the eagle if its 34-35 grey Billbert
