SS Tropical Cap - Opinions Please?

    Hi Team,
I've been asked to post this cap for opinions. I'm not buying it and it isn't my area of knowledge, but can I ask for any opinions on it please so a potential buyer might get more experienced thoughts than my own?
    Thanks everyone I advance.

Except for minor mold stains, it seems fine.

          Hi Mark,

Can you get a close up of the eagle? Trop SS cap eagles are very difficult to find and the colour of this one looks a bit patchy on my monitor.

At first blush looks like a good cap, and the solitary size marking is correct.

Looks like the slightly oversized tan skull, which are common to find, and Ben may be on to something on the eagle. It looks like it's dyed vs originally woven from tan thread, but it could very well be the photo.

For colored bevo cap eagles, I'm more comfortable with the type that has a different head shape and features, but that's just what I find reassuring.

Pending better pictures of the eagle, this cap looks fine.

Picture don’t paint a totally honest picture but to me this specimen bares a chance of being an issued gently worn example..not often seen on other examples..Billbert
