Wanted opinion on Officer’s M43 Field Cap

    Hi everybody,
I need an opinion on this field cap, wether is it an original or fake. I've been looking trough older posts to see if I can find some info or simmilar ones that can shed some light but so far no luck. Thank you.

        no

The many poorly executed details certainly make it look like a reproduction IMO.

Firstly, thank you both for your thoughts, I appreciate it. I'm quite novice when it comes to matter of headgear. I have seen such cap (or it is the same one) on emedals:
          https://www.emedals.com/germany-krie...eld-cap-c-1943.
And so far I know, they are quite legit on these matters, aren't they?

Someone else alse said that this could be "a French, private made coastal artillery officers cap".

Not trying to change your opinions but if you take this into account do you still stick to first thoughts? Again, thank you.

Yes, it is the same cap as the Emedal one. From these images there is always the possibility of it being privately made, but I would not change my mind and if purchased it would likely be a problem to try to sell it later. Wait for something you know is original.

If this cap was to be real indeed I would say likely French made and for a KM officer, certainly not General. All original officer KM M43 caps I have seen did not have golden pebbled buttons.

Not a cap I would like to own.

It loos like an old N.T. Global offering.
