Side note: Feldpost number was assigned to feldlazzeret 615 which was stationed in the area of the Kursk campaign.

Nice looking cap Kevin

Interesting in that it appears to use "boiled wool" for the cap band and piping.

On my monitor the cap band looks almost like the green of the Reichsheer era. This could just be how this type of wool takes the dye.

TWS, I used to struggle with matching the actual look as well.
Natural light and a little post editing of the exposure does wonders.
