Your theory is very interesting because the FBE combination is the most logical, proceeding clockwise. So, F initial of the name, B initial of the surname, E initial of the town. Unfortunately, I have never seen a cap made by Bürger, with the full disclosure of his data on the logo. Also I agree that Tiger could post a high-resolution and close-up image of the circle so we can try to see if there is anything useful.

I know, but it's a possibility maybe worth pursuing, if Bürger H. was in business in 1930 the possibility that there is an early logo ( maybe civilian ) and maybe even a development to the later logo for Friedrich Bürger, or maybe some advertising .... would be possible, one never knows . Maybe worth a topic with a question for examples in the collector community. And maybe Stonemint is able to dig up something, I've seen some excellent examples of data for different brands and names? I'll keep looking in the near future. Best, Seth.
