Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

Both are good caps. Though the Frankie is a real frankie and has been messed with. The Weissbach has the soutache removed. But eagle and cockade are original to the cap.

The Weissbach is on Regimentals site - that's the one D.F. got at the Show, wasn't it?

Think your right Mark as it is on Regt's site currently. Don't see this maker's M40's to often compared to the sidecaps but a few have popped up over the years.
Some were possibly found in the beehive cache years ago ?

The Frankenstein was sold for 1750 euro.
A nice price for a cap that has been messed with!
