I am not digging this hat. It appears to be one of those Johann Weber fakes.

Hi Stonemint. I'm not familiar with the Johann Weber fakes. Would you have anymore info on this?

          Thanks for your response.

It does not look right to me, especially the irregular piping thick and thin and not consistently straight. What are the 3 black thread stitches on the sweatband supposed to be doing? There are some other details I find questionable but will just say the hat would not be for me and I do like Feldgendarmerie items.

                  Believe me, it is junk.
Here are photos of it when it was being dumped in an auction:

                    Hallo Chris

Undoubtedly this visor has the characteristic traits of the fake family you identified.

For Corby: the abrasion of a logo, cleverly executed after the removal of the sweatshield, can be clearly identified on the lining (shot no. 2).

Please, try to translate the inscription or post much more detailed and clear images.

If the name is one of the culprits ... bingo

Really a weird cap. I'd take Richard's cap first.

Listen to Stone and Enore. They know their stuff. The original cap posted is a ground up fake.

                              Thanks again all...!!!
