M43 Help

Would love to hear some opinions on this one guy's. Possible or repro or??? So many variations of these and the fakes are getting too good. Thanks

I think its a good one. The trap looks good from the pic, but I can't tell....does it look reapplied in hand? I would take a shot on it if I were you and the price was right.

Dave, thank you for taking the time to offer an opinion. The trap is actually factory sewn. Not certain if 2 collectors and one dealer sending me a PM asking if I'm selling it is any indication of it being a good one, but caps were usually above my pay grade. So many versions and high end fakes I get lost. In hand from my limited experience with these it seems more legit than not but perhaps some of our friends on the forum can chime in as well.

Im not sure about the insignia from the pictures but the hat looks fine to me. I would love to get a hands on to be sure.

I think whoever applied the insignia had the same poor level of craftsmanship while constructing the rest of the cap. Doesn't look good to me either...in pretty much every aspect. It has the same features as a lot of other fake caps I've seen for sale in the last few years, not just SS but also Heer.
