LW single button bergmutze dated 43. Question

    Hi guys,

this cap is on sale at 'Oakleafmilitaria'. In my opinion this is an original cap, but I have a question.

Why, if there is a Rb.number, the manufacturer's firm also indicated ('Dienstmutze Alfred Muller')? I think this is strange and not logical. After all, the Rb. number was introduced to hide the manufacturer name from enemies.

Thank you for your attention and your opinions.

I’m not seeing the stamp as a manufacturer...rather a personally applied property of stamp perhaps...If it’s the manufacturer...I’ve never encountered one stamped like that..kinda also looks TO ME more nj flak helper in origin that Luftwaffe manufacturers...Billbert

Thanks billbert, I agree, the exterior does not match LW single button bergmutze.

I was interested in this cap for the reason that on my cap a similar Rb. number IMO.

            Best regards,
            Sergey
