Nebelwerfer visor cap - any issues?

    Hello gents,

I canĀ“t see any red flags here, but want to double check since thousand eyes see more than two.

    Thanks,
    Harry

To show the difference of the Colors I put an artillery one on the table. On the other pic, the lower one is GS/Vet, I guess here the difference is visible pretty good.

To me it is a nice Nebelwerfer-SchirmmĆ¼tze! Congratulation!

Yes, unfortunately there are some issues.
That is a civilian contract cap lining, and the Sweadiamond & "ALKERO" perforation are postwar.

Interesting! Excuse me, perhaps I don't understand you correct!

The inner(?)-lining, leather and diamond are postwar... and everything else? So it is tinkered?

I was gonna ask you too, do you have more info about the lining?
Never had a cap of this maker before, I was wondering about the stitching in the sweat band, but the body of cap and the other features look pretty good to me?
Can you go into detail a little more please, its live and learn forever.

Chris is spot on like always. Compare the inside and lining lining with original Pekuro and the answer is very clear. Just search pekuro. Start with this thread http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=pekuro+alkero J

Got it, lesson learned and money saved. The base of the B is scratched away to make it look like an R, these crooks......
                    Thanks guys!!!!

I will say this much--its a damn good exterior, but the piping color is off.

That was the first thing that caught my eye. J

Here is a Cavalry by Alkero that just popped up on another forum.
Logo may be period, but the insignia are reapplied, and the absence of a side lining is concerning.

Harry, I don't care for the liner or the sweat diamond, and on my screen at least it looks like it is more Carmine than Bordeaux.
