Need help identifying navy blue M43 hat

Hi, I am looking for help with this M43 cap. It's not black, but a deep navy blue. I would like to know what military branch wore this and if it is supposed to have an eagle patch located above the front buttons? There are no sizes or numbers on the inside. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks, Brandon

Buttons don't condemn a cap, especially since the pics are bad. It does have an original edelweiss and possibly a good rosette; I don't see a sweatshield, which is what almost all postwar hats have. So, don't be so quick to sell it cheap UNTIL a thorough review with better pics has occurred; otherwise, you could be losing a significant amount- ESPECIALLY if it is a Kriegsmarine M43!

Many KM collectors do not believe in the existence of a KM blue M43 cap. This includes myself.

Thanks guys. It is from a vets family. He brought it back with a few other goodies that were authentic. I grabbed the other items, but wasn't sure on this one. Lighting was bad for pics and I didn't want to be pushy moving around the house. Kinda rushed. It really is mint and still available, but I have not seen any examples in navy blue to compare it to. If i get back there i will take some better shots.
