Kind of figured on that after some looking on here. Thank you. Any way you could help me and cite some reasons for the fake cap opinion though?

The Bergmütze is a repro with an original badge .
M43 is IMO original .

Nice M43 with a removed metal visor hat eagle...The second one as mentioned is fake.

Braunschweig stamp

This is an original CW stamp from it's Braunschweig factory, this stamp is on a tropical sidecap. Not to be confused with the CW factory in Hamburg.
