we diskuss the following Cap. I am a little bit confused with the piping. I know this variation with joining the piping only by rayon piping.

What do you think about the cap?

My vibe based on the rather inferior overall look is post war repro. Its been roughed up a bit to look old but.... it isn’t.

Does anyone know this variant of the piping joining with" normal" piping (on Original Visors). I Know it only with rayon piping.

There are genuine examples of wool piping that is overlapped, but it is very rare to find.
The cap that started off this thread has issues not only with the joinder, but the fuzziness of the piping, along with an uneven application.

As an aside, Hitler's cap has twisted bullion on the crown, not wool.
