Need help with a Tropical cap

I am going through a few items within my collection that I would like to know more about. I am not very knowledgable on tropical caps a
However I do understand the grommets are a key area of focus and in this caps case it is stitched. Please let me know what I have here. The workmanship seems very good but I know there is more than that to determine authenticity. Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.

Forgot to mention the eagle had been remove and mounted to scrap book. I do have the eagle and stitching matches up.
