    NSFK Burgmutzen

These caps were found about a year ago in a veterans footlocker(http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...light=nsfk+m43). Since then I have became the new caretaker of these extremely rare caps and I think they deserve a new thread of their own.
I have read all I can find on these caps and info is scarce is as the caps. In vol 5 of the headgear series, NSFK is covered. There are no examples of this cap shown. It is mentioned that the school had a burgmutze, but the period photos are of a different variation.

          Dave, great pick-up.
They are the first I had ever seen as well, and the only example of a bullion NSFK eagle that I can recall seeing.
(will check my files for an embroidered one).

Talk about rare. Perfect example of a rare item but not in demand.

I am not a NSFK collector, but could start with these.
