    SS Generals Visor

    Gentlemen,

    Is this visor original?

    I appreciate the review.

The thread on the liner stitches seems very white, but I don't have much experience with SS General's headgear.

This is also a 1/2 foldover/sewn sweatband, characteristic of pre-war CWs, which were heavily padded.
This visor appears to have a thin circumference.

Turbo and Stonemint, thanks for looking and commenting with meaningful observations. I don't have this in hand, and have only limited photos from the seller.

Here are a few more photos.

I've asked for better pictures under the sweatband - thanks again for looking and providing meaningful comments.

Not unseen, but all that eposed stitching at the lower band seems noteworthy to me.

Yes, it is also visible on the front below the bottom row of piping. Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks Carlo, I can't tell from the angle (not straight on) on the TK.

I agree w/ N.C.--not something you want to see on a pre-war private-purchase CW (especially an SS Genl)
