Hello all,

Besides the eagle which is poorly sewn, what can be said about this cap? The interior shows virtually no wear whatsoever. There are things I like about this cap and things I don't like about this cap.

Anyone else care to comment?

the eagle is very sloppy like I said and the virtually nonexistent wear to the cap's interior. Even if only worn on special occasions I would think there would be some.

I'm not crazy about the yellow lining, but I own a Heer Officer's M43 that is likely from a French maker that has a similar colored lining. When that cap arrived I took it to George Peterson to have him look it over due to the traits arising from a custom French tailor making me a little uncertain and he said my cap is 100% good. It also has a full leather sweatband.

So, what I'm saying is the lining is a yellow flag (literally, lol) but not a red flag.

In this case I would also be concerned with the way the stitching of the lining to the cap looks and the fact that the lining looks a little too new.

IMO it has bad shape, a very questionable construction and lining. Stamp too is off.
Much more red flags than points I could be happy of.
