Another WSS general officer (I ask myself who was fighting at the front ...) and this time it came from Arthur & Richard Zeumer (not to be confused with Carl Zeumer of Braunschweig), from the 1938 Mannheim adressbuch:

This is apparently the type of sweatshield mainly used on non-PeKuRo visors but it differs greatly from the other two known models, as can be easily detected by the links I posted above.
I must add that they survived the war in the same business sector. This is for 1963:

I think that this alone is not enough to condemn this visor (even if you do not tell us about its attribution and its lineage-pedigree, being not an humble infantry lance-corporal but a WSS general officer ...) which at first sight is very attractive and very well done (and in any case I must say that I - a true neophyte at these high levels -, esthetically like it, especially inside, but overall I'm undecided in negative ...) but it is an important and very dubious point, in my opinion, on which to reflect together.

Looks to be a well made, high end reproduction.
I was already dubious of the fabrics but the nail in the coffin for me is Zeumer logo under the shield. When you compare it known originals, it's just not correct.
One obvious difference is that all the originals have the city MANNHEIM in capital letters, the subject cap does not. The Logo design itself is way off plus there are several other details like the font and letter spacing which look wrong to me.
We know that Zeumer did supply SS visors (pics courtesy of Bill Shea) but this Generals cap wasn't one of them IMO.Comment

Just wondering, it could be the picture in artificial light but isn't the wool a bit on the dark side too, reminds me of an Austrian produced WW2 German officer coat I used to own?Comment
