Hmm, I don’t think it’s a repro, zero glow has age iand is cap removed, my question was could this be a GO, I think it’s coastal artillery.

Repro for my money; sorry, I know that is not what you had wanted to hear. So no - not a general’s eagle.

Be it a repro or not, I believe it's quite difficult to tell a WH generals' bullion cap eagle apart from a KM Ground Units officers' one.

                    Hello,

Nice original IMHO. Base material looks good, multiple type of bullion, no cheesy backing good bullion work overall. KM or Generals is a hard one. It looks nice enough.

Thanks guys! I Appreciate the positive comments, I didn’t have any issue with it but wanted thoughts on if it could have been a GO eagle, heck it might be but the difference as stated earlier is quite difficult, this is another time when ya don’t really pay attention to the snap judgments

I would say it's a good original bird. Don't forget this birds was all hand sewn and could also made in france, etc.
So I can't see anything wrong.

And I agree there are no differences between an heer general officer and an coasst artillery officer bird! But they're all sold as General Eagles for a better profit..

I've never seen one where there is absolutely no detail for the face/beak of the eagle. That looks like crap.
