            Would pass on this very poor example. Appears to be another from the CZ horde years ago and worn post war as well. Badges are likely added post war & not sure this was a Herr helmet originally...

                  Hi Tim, thanks for your time.
                  No specific reason about the chinstrap, but I just wanted to know if it's original ww2 or post added.
                  Usually I see an other chinstrap model in the german pith helmet. It's a early variant?
