    Luftwaffe Overseas Cap?

    Hi guys,

I am not very knowledgable with side caps and was wondering if this is all correct.

From looking at other examples I presume its just a salty piece with a repair on the inside. But what do you all think?

    Thanks for the help!

Thank you Gene! Was this in fact repaired on the inside, or or this my mistake.

            Thanks again!

Although used more frequently postwar..do I see the remnants of an A inside..If so IMO its been reworked or relegated to a worn out or work fatigues usage...Billbert

Thanks billbert for the input. I will post more photos of the inside now so we can confirm.

Was this the A you were referring to?

                      That's the mark...IF it's an A that's why it's there...Billbert

Oh interesting to hear! It does appear either an A or 4. But with the information youve given I will assume A.

                        Thank you!

Interesting piece of History ; I agree that this is an original cap. Interesting internal reparation.
