    Help with identification needed

    Good evening,

Could you please help me with identification (what is it and is it original) of this visor cap? I have just these two photos.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Rgds

    Hallo Daniel

I think it is a member of the Schellenberg family:

Jesus, you guys are good. Indeed it looks with a bit of association like the label in post nbr 23 in the thread you linked.
So can I assume it is original?

The other question, at least to me, is what is it. The wreath looks somewhat golden while the cord looks silver. The piping in turn looks somewhat yellow.

Again, I can only judge by the two photos, I don't have the cap yet.

Rgds and thx in advance again.

        what

It appears to have the golden yellow piping for a cavalry officer.

Many thanks for your help, so is it safe to assume it is a Schellenberg Cavalry officer?

Anyone else can confirm the posts of Pauke and enorepap?

          Rgds and thanks

            Hallo Daniel

Probably the color of the waffenfarbe pipings was yellow but they are now so faded that therefore it may have also been a Signals. For the rest, in my opinion, it has been rebadged, it is a little dirty and it shows some major damages to the capboard and lining. Therefore, here the problem is only that its price must be low, due to its current state of conservation.

            Best regards
