Now that's an interesting cap! Any history with it? I guess you've seen the analogue in Fisher (2011, p. 50). I wonder when the peak was attached — does anyone recognise its (the peak's) fabric? Thanks for posting. A very useful cap to see.

No history, just a vet estate in the US.

Facinating
The bill appears field made as opposed to taken from another cap, but my eye is drawn to the initial tan colour of the sidecap's body...Does it look darker in the folded turn-down recesses Mike? I wouldn't think it does but worth a look.
A cap with great character.
