    Heer Visor Cap Opinions

    Hi guys!

I am relatively new to collecting visor caps and would like some opinions on this one. The eagle and wreath match in quality - but do not match the quality to the others I have in my collection. Another thing this cap is missing in comparison to the others Ive had is a date stamp under the leather band. Is this normal?

    Thanks all for the help!
    William

              Hallo William

Sebastian Koislmaier, A.H. strasse (now Obere Hauptstrasse) of Freising is a confirmed retailer.

Obviously, the eagle is not the army pattern and therefore, if the set has not been restored, it was improperly used (not a very uncommon practice) by the owner.

Finally, I think the code K. VII on the liner’s panel indicates the size of the cap.

An honest and pleasing infantry visor in my humble opinion
              Best regards

                Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to help me out! It is comforting to know that the set is in fact original. Unfortunately I have not had the visor in my possession since the end of the war, so I cant confirm if it has ever been restored.

From the way I found the cap, I dont belive it has been though.

                Thank you again!
                William

IMO original cap - looks like Clemen Wagner product.
                  Unfortunately eagle is replaced.
