Two M43s to criticize

Boy, oh boy, do these pictures suck.
Why is it that when you get someone that wants to sell you something & you figure that, just maybe, they are good, they have to give you terrible, terrible pictures??!!

In any event, first up is an enlisted M43 with an metal edelweiss device on the side. If anyone would HAZARD an opinion on whether I should pursue this or not, as being real, I would appreciate it.

M43 SS Panzer

I suppose I could put this on the SS Forum but it is a cloth hat, so let's show it here.
Notice that there is a metal totenkopf on the front of the hat. I am told that there is an cloth hat eagle on the side but the person sending the pictures neglected to include that.
Now I know that there are photographic images of SS men wearing metal skulls on their hats, so that isn't an issue. What's more the skull looks good. It is the hat that I present for questioning.
Once again, I must mention that these are the pictures that I was given. I may not be a great photographer, but I know I could have done better in my sleep!
