unknown name stamp in M40 tropical caps

Can anyone tell me the manufacturer's name that these faint stamps represent? The first photo is from Virtual Grenadier, the second from J Philip — my thanks to both for their original posts of these interesting caps.

    Actually a "known" maker: Resolut.

Thanks OSS. Obvious once you know it, though I've not encountered the name before.
Any idea if any are reported to have been picked up in Africa — Virtual Grenadier says its cap was 1942-dated.
      Cheers

While perhaps not one of the original handful of makers of tropical caps, RESOLUT is an accepted supplier of caps to the DAK. I am surprised that those members whose primary focus is Afikakorps have not commented with details concerning this maker.

          more Resoluts??

Could these three caps be Resoluts as well? I'd be interested in members views. Look at the stitching of the cockade and that on the underside of the peak, which appears to be common to these and to the two caps I provided links to in my earlier post.

            Resolut

Indeed, this is a "Resolut" made DAK field cap. I also agree with OSS that this tailor is well known for making DAK field caps.

                Thanks dakcollector.
Has anyone any views on the three stamp-less caps — particularly the two toned one! I know some of you have seen this cap in the flesh and may be aware of features that are not visible in the photos posted on the Afrikakorps Forum.
                Cheers
