I like the 43 too, the wool is correct with the rest. Too bad about the sun damage done to this cap...
From your name it looks you are from Post Soviet areas, I would think farmers in LT, LV, could and would not have worn such hats in the fields after the war because of Soviet authorities...anything German was immediate ticket to Gulag...So how was it bleached?

The shape of the other one seems correct but I do not like the assembly materials and other details ..

Actualy M43 is from eBay ( and Germany ) and for sale at german ebay from one ebay delaers. And was damaged by moths not by sun ( simply sun faded due long time use ).

Believe me they do. It could been damaged also by other insects which feeds on sweat and dirt.
