The markings seem illegible from these recent photos, yet as mentioned before, everything (grommets, lining material, insignia and it's application, basic construction) is correct and you can be comfortable with your cap.
I appreciate your comments and reassurance my cap is original. Here is a marking that may be similar to the one in my cap. It's from a M34 I found on the forum.
