    Original & Fake Government Visor Cap?

    This is a Visor Cap for sale in a Militaria shop very well known in Spain...

    I think the eagle, cokade and wreath is original but the visor cap? .....

    This is not so clear .... I would like to know the opinion of stonemint

          I have the same question Don has--is it gray? What is it made out of--wool or bullion?
          Better pix are needed, along with under the hood shots.

            I think it's green.

            This is one of the issues that made me suspect that it is not authentic 100% .... no better photos are possible

                The piping is metallic when I zoom in, but impossible to say if silver or gold.

                  I imported them as well and under magnification the piping appears to be real tarnished silver.

                    Thanks guys....the visor cap is in very poor conditions and price request by the seller very high (4500€)....piping is very very dark and higher part of this cap is destroy

                      Eagle, wreath and cokade is silver...is supossed the pipping in this cap is silver.

                      Diplomatic Visor cap in black background color is possible with eagle, wreath and cokade silver and gold pipping but no in gray or feldgrau cap...

                          As seen in photos, it is "Feldgrau" color (the mixture between green and gray), the pipe looks golden although darkened and looks like cloth, not cotton.

                          I've seen one like that sold Oakleaf Militaria .... this is it:
