Looks like a Bahnschutz officer visor w/ incorrect insignia

Thank you for the reply. Could you be a little more detailed in your opinion though? I'm not a head gear guy. Is the visor an original Bahnschutzpolizei?
Is the insignia original, just wrong for this visor? If so, what would the insignia be for?

If STONEMINT is correct the only thing incorrect is the wreath..And he almost ALWAYS is correct..Billbert

Insignia appears original. The eagle is the EM/NCO type with the thick prongs;
the wreath also appears original, but lower quality; the cockade appears original, but is a Weimar-era state cockade (I cannot recall which state at this moment).
