    NSKK Cap /What cap was it before?

    Hi guys please take a look to this nskk cap. My questions to you! Is it a real or a fake? What cap was it before? Please opinions! Thanks and best regards!

        Rudi--he would have been an SA mann who transferred to the NSKK.
        It looks like the original truppenfarbe is orange--if so, he would have been from Gruppe Sudwest.

            I received the following email from the legendary Wim Saris regarding this hat:

            "he was from an SA motor-unit, from Südwest and
            became NSKK with an orange top as well, when the motor units were absorbed within the NSKK, until the black top was introduced. See explanation in volume 4, 238 through 247."

            (He is referring to his magnum opus, "Headgear of Hitler's Germany" vol 4)
