        crushed

It is clearly a "crushed" cap, but not what we actually call a crusher cap which is a field cap.

Why do you think it is a crusher, except being "crushed" by customs?

It's an infantry visor that was crushed by a heavy object and wrecked the bill. Would be a good candidate for restoration but not a crusher by any means. Matt

And it's also been promoted "from the ranks", as they say...

                Hi mates.
I am intersted in purchasing this cap, so I asked Nick to post it here.
I had absolutely clear that it is not what we understand as a crusher, but my intention was not to purchase such kind of cap as my will is to get just a simple but all original cap.
Regarding your experience, is it all original? I took a look at the insignia and the patina looks a little bit different, but it could also depend on the base material of them.

So please dear colleagues, is there any reason why I should not buy it? (Despite the broken visor, which imo makes it an interesting restoration project)

                Thank you!!

These infantry visor caps are quite common, and this one, as stated earlier, is an upgraded nco's issue quality cap, so, unless the price is very low, AND you can have the visor replacement done well, I would suggest waiting for a better example.

                    Thank you for your opinions.
Asking price is 200 usd, which I think could be fair for it,isnt it?
