LW Signals Cap...repro eagle?

Hello...looking for some thoughts on the cap eagle on this LW cap. Condition is not the best and someone at one point made a restoration attempt. The seller I picked it up from stated it was originally bought from WA.

Hello Rucker,
In my opinion, the early eagle is a replacement and sits too high on the cap. I would look for a more common, later eagle to put on it. Outside of the visor repairs, the cap looks very nice.
