    All,

Any thoughts on this visor. I purchased it from a trusted seller. It is apparently a mid war double erel. It does have aluminum and zinc (eagle and wreath, but not sure wich is wich). I can post more pics when I get home. Thanks

Looks like a righteous Erel to me.

The wreath is zinc, the eagle looks to be aluminum.

Don, it looks like Erel is making new officers visors. Is there any way to distinguish a new one that has been aged and an original?

The "new" Erels aren't made by Erel - a lot of them are Paki or Chinese knock-offs with few if any of the original manufacturing "tells". The sweat diamonds on the newer repros are plastic and the quality just isn't there.

That's good to know! I am stil a novice when it comes to visors and have to rely on others knowledge. Thanks again Don!
