    Recruiter/FG Visor for review

Hello All! Please give your opinions on this visor I purchased from IMA.
I believe it to be Recruiter over FG due to the wear. Looks like a daily use headgear. Thank you for your input and knowledge!

              A photo of the vent.

I did a burn test on a bit of the thread sewing the wreath to the hat. it is cotton.

No replies. Not sure if that is good or bad.

Your cap appears to be a well-worn wartime original eReL visor, of which I've owned dozens and handled hundreds, but the fact that the lower rim appears to have absolutely no staining, wear, or damage really gives me pause. Maybe it is just the photos?

Thanks SgtB. I greatly appreciate your opinion. Now that you mention it. It is a little odd. The nap has been worn smooth on the lower rim but does seem stain free. The lower piping is stained on the back. The sweatband stitching is firm with no extra holes. Only my second visor and the first since 1975.

Cap looks fine to me - it may have been at the SOS a year or two ago - I looked it over and later wished I had bought it.

Thanks Don! It's amazing how positive feedback from known experts can relieve the anxiety of a novice. The eagle and the orange really drew me into this one.
                        Thanks again!
