        Hallo elBarto

I agree with Carlo. I do not intend to enter the labyrinth of Lubstein and the DDR because I do not have the thread of Arianna and I do not know how to get out of it, but I can consider, in my view, this well founded thing: the lining with the Heinrich-Roller Str. 16-17 address without the Lieferjahr is characteristic of the Lubstein's early post-war production. The only Lieferjahr I saw on a Heer contract visor is 1939 because Lubstein moved from Alt Moabit to his new headquarters in April 1939. Instead I have seen many Lubstein with the same printed address but without the delivery year on the sweatshield, certainly attributable to the early East German period until the nationalization.

        Best regards

Gents, I have to disagree--it is a good wartime RMBO visor.
However, the insignia is incorrect, and those are definitely DDR chincord buttons.

You need to find some loose machine-embroidered RMBO insignia (cotton) and new buttons if you want to restore it.

The M-34 political eagle and the cockade appear to be original.

              Thanks guys for the opinions!

I will now try to get the cap, as soon as it's in my hands
i will come back with some more detailed pictures without current insignias.

I also have th chance to get a silver embroidered eagle, same shape than
The machine woven one, but I'm not sure if it fits on this cap?

              Pictures I will show tomorrow

                    Dear elBarto,

your visor cap eagle is a reproduction unfortunately so I wouldn't put that on there. You could also go with a metal version though ... Kurt
