A pair of SS visor caps

Wish I had the skills and machines to make these myself but they actually came from Germany. I bought one and was so impressed with the quality, I asked the seller if he had anymore. He did so ended up buying all that he had. Some are SS but most are Heer. Apparently the maker was an old guy, now passed on, who worked as a mutzenmacher during the war. Whether that's true or not, who knows but they are the best made replicas I've seen so far.

I agree--they are way better than the current repros on the market (and yes, I include Janke).

Sad to hear the Muetzenmacher passed away--he definitely had a skilled hand.

VERY,VERY nice repros ...just wear them a couple of times ,when you cut the yard on a very hot summer day ..get some sweat stains ...set them by a hot window ,let bthe leather dry out ...put them on e-bay ...and whalla!! big $$$s...just kidding ....NICE ... EC
