          Thanks all; my worries were about the 'Deutsches Leder' sweatband embossed mark, present in many Janke caps.
          Celluloid is missing but could be determined the maker with the shown features?

            The remaining protective shield doesn't look like celluloid but plastic from my screen...

            Is the black part of the cockade made with black thread or bullion ?

              I have not the cap in hand to check it these points but paying attention to the photos you may be right.

              Another point is to me the bill black side; it appears a creased surface instead shiny as we are used to see.

                Original cap with original oakleaves , don't worry !
                The picture of the celluloid makes it "strange"but plastic is different ...
