One Funky Peküro

This popped up on the 'bay today.


The lining pleats look good and correct, BUT it has one of those Soviet-style visors, and the logo is stamped over one that was there previously (and the hat had been worn while it was present). The sweatband is not Pekuro at all, even on their last-ditch caps.


I can understand a visor replacement and the sweatband being replaced postwar, but the stamp over the old logo is throwing me.

I Think Pekuro is the old loggo and the round patch was put over, maybee a distributor, look at dirt pattern
