Cavalry and Admin ? Visors opinions

A couple more photos, this time I lifted up the back end to reveal the piping on the band and it looks like the cap may have seen a lot of sun as the exposed piping looks evenly faded. More inclined to believe it may be Panzer grenadier or Jager now. Would anyone be able to tell me how best to get a good reading of the faded name on the inside (it appears to be maybe pencil)

Both look original to me however I would like to see a photo of the Erel showing the piping under the rear fold. Natural light ...no flash. thx

Thank you everyone for the help, It's very much appreciated. I've tried playing around in photoshop to bring out the name on the sweatband and have come up with KEU or KELL and either JG1 or a J and a single SS rune or an S and 1. I highly doubt its an SS rune but does anyone see something I'm missing? Or do the names ring any bells to anyone?
