Appears to have nicely toned eagle, cockade and cord.

Is it early war?

This cap was sold on the e-stand recently. From the exterior, there are no concerns - nice matching toned insignia and chin cordt - very nice looking cap

Inside, the leather sweatband has obviously been resewn in the entire area under the embossed "stirndruckfrei" logo - based on the different thread colors, I'd say there were 2 separate repair jobs done in that area.

The repairs where fully disclosed and I am happy with that.

Would like to know if an early early war cap as I note the internal logo on sweat diamond differs from others of this maker?
