    Luft. M43 opinions please.

What are some thoughts on this cap?

It passes the blacklight test. The pics were taken with a flash.

The sweatband is marked "Qualitatze Marke" with the name "A. Moll". The letter "A" has umlatz(spelling) over it.
The lining is marked, 8/44, 0/0378/008 and size 56.
The buttons have some markings on the back of them, but they are to shallow to make out.

    Thanks,
    Mike

              There they're..

The pic without flash gives a better indication about the real color..
              It looks good..
Can you post some close-ups of the buttonholes, the piece of leather with markings and when the flaps are turned down ?

              Jos.

Cool cap! I have never seen one of these EM/NCO M43's with a sweatband. Is there a maker-mark or an RB number? I am wondering if it is a private purchase.

Nice M43. The partial leather sweatband is very unique. Nicely zigzag stitched trapezoid and I like the contrast of the thread and the wool. Makes for an interesting look.

                          Hi,

you've got a very, very, very nice LW M43 !It's made unique by its sweat band which is identical to the sweat bands found inside HJ Flak Helper's visored caps...neato!In my opinion this sweat band could as well have been (PERIOD )sewn after the cap had been tailored, judging by the different thread at least, even if is impossible to tell from pictures alone,or this cap could have been made by a factory which produced the HJ Flak helfer/helferin caps as well, hence the bonus goodie !
No doubt about its originality and the RBNr is known to be one assigned to a factory which made garments for the LW...I'm 99,99999 confident I've got a late-war LW M43 with the same RBNr!
                          Congratulations

                          Manny
