Hans Brandt sidecap on estand with post war soutache ?

Just saw this on the e-stand described as a "DAK" tropical sidecap with Art soutache" what do you guys think ? Its a Hans Brandt rbn# cap with a "thin" red soutache dated March '43. Eagle & cockade are original factory applied. The thread used to re-attach the false front is also not original to the cap...

Thanks Mark(s) for the confirmation. Soutache has been added post war to an original HB cap.

Not really sure of protocol when you see an item on the e-stand that should be discussed ? Besides posting photos & a link to the item, do you notify the owner that is trying to sell the item that needs to be discussed or not ?

In this case i did make cpmil (the owner) aware of this thread, no problem
